Presenters Information
Students interested in presenting their research at MASPLAS '08 should contact
(send e-mail to) the
conference organizer.
Submission Procedure for Papers
The presentations are open to both graduate and
undergraduate students.
The procedure for submitting papers is as follows:
- Submit a plain text or html abstract by 23 March 2008.
These will be posted on the web for potential attendees to browse.
The abstract should be less than one page.
Send it to the conference organizer
with the subject "Paper Abstract".
- Submit something in postscript by 30 March 2008.
This may be either new work or previously published related work.
Aim for about 5000 words and follow the PLDI formatting rules.
Send the postscript file to
the conference organizer
with the subject "Paper Postscript".
- Please Note: Presentations will be given in a room with a computer running typical
presentation software, Internet access, and a laptop hook up.
If you wish to use any other presentation tools please contact us by
30 March 2008.
Submission Procedure for Poster Session
Unlike the presentation of papers, the number of posters is not
limited to one per school.

To submit a poster, submit a plain text
or HTML abstract by 23 March 2008. These will be posted on the web
for potential attendees to browse. The abstract should be less than
one page. Send email to
the conference organizer
with the subject "Poster Abstract".
- Please Note: We are expecting that the poster presenters will bring
their work already mounted on a poster board. We will be providing
easels or tables for presenters to use to display the posters.
